Privacy
Short version: an email, a Roblox username, and nothing else.
What we store
- Your email address — to send sign-in codes and offer notifications.
- Your Roblox username (and public user id and avatar) — so traders know who to add in game.
- Your listings — photos, tags, and what you are looking for.
- Your offers, trades and points.
- Basic technical data: session cookie, browser user-agent, IP address for rate limiting.
What we never ask for
Your Roblox password, your account cookie, your real name, your address, your phone number, or any payment details. HouseTradery has nothing to sell you.
Cookies
Three cookies, all strictly functional: one keeps you signed in, one protects forms against cross-site requests, and one remembers the language you chose. There is no advertising or tracking cookie on this site.
Roblox data
We read public Roblox endpoints only: username → user id, your public profile description (for the verified badge), and your avatar image. We never sign in to your Roblox account, and we cannot act on it.
Who sees what
Other players see your Roblox username, your avatar, your points and your listings. Your email address is never shown to anyone.
They also see your completed trades: the date, the house, who you traded with, and what was given for it. Only trades both sides confirmed appear — offers you received, declined or withdrew are never shown to anyone but you and the person who sent them. This history is what lets other players judge whether a price is fair and whether you are safe to trade with, so it is public by design.
If you set a time zone, your profile shows the current time where you are. The time zone itself is never shown — other players see a clock, not a region.
Deleting your data
Deleting a listing deletes its photos from our server. If you want your whole account removed, ask us and we will delete it, keeping only the minimum needed to stop a banned account from coming back.
Young users
This site is used by a young audience. We deliberately collect as little as possible, there is no free-text messaging, and no way to share contact details. If you believe a child has given us more information than the above, contact us and we will remove it.
